  I think that some of these reviews aren't fully accurate on both sides. It's a great area to live. The apartments are nice but yes, they do have flaws. There is many of the issues as stated before me (carpet pulling up, old appliances, and what not). What needs to be addressed is that the people commenting also complain about neighbors and alarms going off. Let me clarify, you are renting an apartment, if you want a house where you don't hear neighbors or alarms going off, don't rent in an apartment. People have become very unrealistic about what you can reasonably expect. The appliances do not break nearly as often as all of these reviews are indicating. People want high end but don't want to buy a house or over pay in rent and and then get mad at an apartment complex for what is supplied. I change my light bulbs on my own and have had to call maintenance once due to an AC issue which was promptly fixed. The only bad thing I can truly say is that many people don't clean up after their pets outside.
  
  Update: Left Bell. A new management company took over and the quality of the complex went downhill fast. More specifically office personnel became defensive of any issues brought up. Management that bad is enough to make me never consider Bell again.
