  We picked up a 26ft uhaul truck Friday night, it was half in a ditch and had to get pulled out while we waited. I have rented 6 uhaul trucks since 2013, and NEVER been given one in such filthy condition (nothing a broom and blower wouldn't fix). We were showed where to park the truck upon returning it on Saturday and the key drop off (as they were closed at our drop off time). We dropped it off on Saturday;however, the place he pointed out to park it was occupied, so we had to leave it in their driveway due to limited space. We used the online system for checking the uhaul out and verifying driver/payment/ and truck information;however, upon return the GPS wouldn't recognize or allow our drop off information and said they would contact us... , so we put the key in the drop off slot. Monday we get an email for charges for 3 days of usage ($151... For a $39. Truck driven 18 miles total.)!!!! Of course we were very upset and called customer service for uhaul, whom said they would look into it and get back to us. We then called the owner of this business (Mr. Kopec) whom couldn't have been nicer over the phone, and told us that it was all uhaul's mistake and they only provide as a uhaul pick up / drop off location service. So while we are furious with Uhaul, apparently the location providers have no responsibility for such mishaps, and Mr Kopec seemed quite sincere.
